Key is avoiding being a "RELIGIOUS" person. Religion is so much based on what Man wants, rather than what God wants. Religion tends to satisfy and glorify man, rather than giving the Glory to God. We get ritualistic and think that, "if I do this again and again (go to church, say a certain prayer, give to the poor) that God will be happy. But God said "If you love me, keep my commandments". He only ever said to pray to him in the name of Jesus. He never said to pray to man endorsed saints or Mary. Keep His Commandments. Be Christ Like. Having a relationship with God is what he wants, not someone going through the motions of some man made group following the guidelines that men, not God made up, to make themselves "feel" closer to God. Gods word said "draw nigh unto me, and I will draw nigh unto you". Add it reads "Study to show thy self approved unto God." Practice giving time to God, just avoid the rituals that will no doubt pull you farther away. ttyl My Friend.

Many people will say, "I have so much to be thankful for, I could go on for hours." and then are in capable of saying more than a few things at all. It is awesome that you listed 50 here. I can tell by the way they are linked, that they came pretty easily for you to post. Keep counting your blessings. The more we count them, the more we will see what God has done for us. We start to see what harm God has kept us from. And we often see that being a blessing to others so often turns into a blessing for us. ttyl my friend.

Great post! It really helped me look at things from a different light. I think the problems exists on both sides. I used to be the one hurt from the sarcastic remarks. Now I just brush it off, because I feel that it's highly possible that I'll run into the same people down the road and why do I have to take it so personal to let it bother the outcome of my own actions? I don't think sarcasm always have to end with degrading people. I love satirical humor. I don't know if you watch Family Guy, but I love it! All the late night talk shows all use sarcasm to make us laugh. I think there's a line that needs to be drawn. Like most lines, it's not always clear cut and there are gray areas. Don't be so hard on yourself buddy! Just try and be sure not to hurt others. Keep in mind that there are overly sensitive people with their own problems and they have to row up as well! I enjoyed reading this post. Keep up the good work! (=

Brian what has happened to you? Have not checked here for awhile and when I did I saw the most EVIL satan face I have ever seen. I think this picture should be taken off of your blog. Evil attracts evil. It looks like you have forsaken your blog. Have you also forsaken every thing you have written on here?
Maybe it is time you just got on with your life and start fresh. Or maybe the reason you have forgotten your blog is that all is well with your personal life. Could this be true? Waiting for your answers.....
